Her love for the childcare profession began when she was 16 years old, when she spent most of her time babysitting and as a teacher at Bright Start Childcare. Dana continued her education, nannying part-time along the way, and received a Masters in Remedial Reading & Language Arts. She also holds a Pre-School Head Teacher Certification. The bulk of her career was in the classroom, teaching First Grade and Reading, and then as a Literacy Facilitator. Currently, she enjoys teaching music and movement to a local Fort Lauderdale Pre-School.
With her passion for nurturing and fostering the growth and development of children, Dana brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role with MBR. Possessing a deep understanding of the unique requirements of each family, she meticulously assesses both the needs of the household and the skills and personalities of our caregivers to create harmonious matches. A mother herself, Dana truly knows the importance of finding the right nanny/family connection and knows firsthand that there is no better piece of mind than knowing your child is safe, happy, and well-taken-care of! She is proud to be a part of a team that shares her dedication to excellence and her passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
